Mortgagee Services has been working with large and small secured lenders since 2004

Mortgagee Services was established by Robert Allanadale in 2004, to manage the sale of mortgaged properties in Victoria. We have since expanded our range of services and have become a national service provider.

Robert has extensive experience in banking, securities law, property development and trustee and financial services. Our Property Managers are predominantly experienced executives from the banking and finance sectors with a diverse range of skills in the property, banking and finance areas.

We are not affiliated with any real estate agency group, so can choose the best local agents to sell a property. We do not share agency commission with the estate agents, so maintain an independent role throughout the process with a transparent fee structure.

We have successfully managed the sale process of over 3,500 properties around Australia.

Mortgagee Services provides a full-service property realisation management capability to ensure legal compliance and to achieve a sale for the best possible price in a reasonable time frame.

Our experienced Property Managers provide localised knowledge of metropolitan and rural areas throughout Australia.

Mortgagee Services has built strong relationships with real estate agents, tradesmen, valuers and other service providers across Australia.

Our personal approach to managing each property ensures the best outcome for our client, through good property presentation, monitoring and management of the selling agent and by identifying and implementing value-adding opportunities and strategies.

Our Sales Process for Mortgagees

  • We manage the sale process from taking possession, through to sale

  • We attend properties to take possession and determine a sale strategy

  • We select the best local estate agents for marketing proposals and negotiate commission rates down

  • We arrange independent valuations

  • We arrange and manage presentation work to best present a property for sale

  • We arrange property insurance

  • We arrange for the legal disposal or storage of any goods left on a property

  • We provide comprehensive written reports with recommendations throughout the sale process

  • We attend auctions to negotiate a higher sale price

  • We maintain the property through to settlement

  • We pay property disbursements until settlement which reduces client administration.

Our Team

Robert Allanadale LLB. (Melb.)- Director

Robert has a long history working in Corporate Law, Banking and Property Development.

As a corporate lawyer with a major Australian Bank, Robert has extensive experience in the banking and finance, securities law, trustee and funds management areas. He has also developed a number of commercial properties as a co-principal, before establishing Mortgagee Services in 2004. He remains the Director and Principal of the business.

Phil Hoopmann BBus. MBA - Senior Property Manager

Phil has been with Mortgagee Services since 2009 and is Melbourne based. He manages properties in Tasmania, South Australia, Victoria and Queensland

Phil comes to Mortgagee Services with extensive experience in the financial services sector with National Australia Bank and MLC, having covered all aspects of transactional banking, product sales and branch management. He has also held a number of senior corporate roles in Human Resource Management.

Our Administration Manager

Janet joined Mortgagee Services in 2023 as our Administration Manager. Janet has a background in accounting and business administration.

Janet manages all administration aspects of the business.
